I saw on CNN this neck-tied worldly philosopher and political prognosticator pronounce that the trouble with the truth is that you can’t prove it. Since I’ve heard that kind of horseshit my whole life, it made me want to leap into my mini-widescreen and stomp on the dude’s toes. Why? To prove to him beyond any reasonable doubt that it hurts when somebody stomps on your toes. Although it wouldn’t give me much to brag about since I’d only be pointing out the obvious.
